Hi! My name is Tipper, I used to be a city girl but now I’m an island girl 100%!🏝

The first time I came to Phi Phi was 8 years ago as tourist, but now I am living here full time! I fell in love with this small island and decided I never wanted to leave. I called my job in Bangkok and quit! I started looking for a new job since I only had 3 weeks until I had to leave. Luckily I got a job as tour guide on a sleep aboard boat, and a few years later I started working as a tour guide freelance! I work on long-tail boats and party boats taking travelers from all over the world to the best beaches, reefs, and deserted islands that Thailand has to offer!

People always ask me; “Why do you love this island? Why do you want to live here?”I always say it’s because it’s a small island the locals who live and work on the island all know each other. There’s no cars or motorbikes, you have to walk to everywhere you go. There’s no shopping malls, cinemas, and no traffic like in the city where I used to live. It’s so different.. So peaceful. Since the first day I arrived on this island, I felt like I found the home that I was looking for. Now I'm living the dream. Thanks Buddha 🙏
